Tri Tool is an enterprise that assembles, tests, and quality check's various precision and high-performance equipment; for instance, welding equipment, pipe facing machines, or hydraulic power units. The company has a website that you can visit to check out what they have to offer and how they can be useful to you. In this review, I'll be sharing my perception regarding my experience with the site. Here we go.

The User Interface

Tri Tool's website is a straightforward website. As far as design is concerned, if you have ever visited any other website before, you won't find anything new. The website feels very familiar, therefore, anyone should have an easy time navigating it. Be that as it may, the site is professional looking. The font used on it is a sans-serif font that echoes the kind of font you'll find on a manual of a big company like Sony. The main color of the website is blue, but it has been accompanied by grey and black here and there.

The home page of the website has a slideshow at the top that depicts different tools and equipment you are likely to get from the company. There is also a brief introduction and description of the company. Something I really appreciate about the site is that despite the fact that it is a technical company, it has done its best to ensure the site can be easily understood by anyone. The content on the website is brief. There isn't much to read and everything presented on it is straightforward.

The menu of the site seems rather simple to the average eye. However, from a web designer's perspective, if you look at the multilevel menu used, particularly the "Products" part, you'll get how much design work was included to come up with such a complex multi-level menu. If you are not a web designer, please don't mind. All I'm saying is that the main menu of the website is a complex multilevel menu. When I say complex, I don't necessarily mean that it's difficult to navigate because it's not; in fact, it's very simple to use. Nonetheless, if you hover your mouse arrow over the "Products" link on the main menu, a sophisticated submenu menu with various options will be revealed. Again, by sophisticated, I just mean that it has a lot of options (necessary options), and it is sophisticated because you don't come across a submenu with so many options on a daily basis. The menu is perfect the way it is because it makes it possible for a user to go straight to the product he or she is interested in without necessarily clicking on so many unnecessary links. You can hover your mouse arrow on the "Products" link to discover the kinds of precision and high-performance equipment you are likely to get from the company.

The company has so much to offer. The "Services" menu item also contains a submenu that lists the various services you are likely to get from the company. I'll raise your curiosity by listing some of the services the company offers:

  • Commitment to Safety
  • On-Site Field Machining Services
  • Specialty Welding
  • Pipeline Welding
  • Pipeline Services
  • High Production CNC Counterbore Services
  • Laser Dimensioning Services
  • Nuclear Power Plant Construction Services
  • Union Contracting Services
  • Project Management Services
  • Tri Tool Training

If this is your kind of industry, something from the list above has to capture your attention.

I would like to suggest that you look at the "Contact Us" page of the website because it is not an ordinary "Contact Us" page. It highlights local offices in America where you can receive the company's services. Furthermore, it has two maps; one that shows its offices in America and another that shows its offices around the globe. I believe these can be useful for anyone interested in the company's services, regardless of where they are located.

Performance

The pages of the website load fast, despite the fact that it has various pictures of the equipment it manufactures and assembles. The website also contains animations here and there. You'll notice content moving about; especially if you are using a tablet or smartphone. When you hover over the pictures in the "Products" page, you'll notice that they'll zoom in a bit. The fact that these animations work seamlessly on the site is a sign of good performance. Moreover, the site is responsive, which means one will have a good user experience on it even if they are using a device with a small screen size such as a tablet or smartphone.
