Dropbox is a digital storage program. It creates a folder on the computer that files can be placed in. These files can be accessed on the website or from another computer with the program installed and linked to the same account. Within the folder is a publicly accessible folder. Files placed in this folder will have a link that can be shared with others, allowing them to download the file for their own use.
