The Blaze is in the top 10 of political commentary and news sites in numbers of unique visitors, and it's only been around since the summer of 2010. The site owes its success to Glenn Beck.
The former Fox News pundit and radio host started The Blaze to, as he put it, "make sense of the world." The trouble is, that means the world as Beck sees it. For the most part, the stories read like they were fed right out of his radio studio.
The most interesting feature of the site are the comments left by readers at the bottom of the posted articles. The level of paranoia doubles as political entertainment.
The Blaze does offer strong conservatives a place to find opinions matching theirs.
