Salon is similar to the Huffington Post in that it offers movie reviews, entertainment, cultural, and sports stories. Still, the content is mainly political. Salon may not have as many readers as the big three, but the site is still a major player in the political news arena.
The articles and blogs are edgy and not afraid to challenge the propaganda that can be found swirling around some purported news organizations.
The political commentary is fairly spot-on and does try to present more than one side of an argument, but the overall tone is on the liberal side of the political spectrum.
